You might find yourself at time being required by support or a forum member to provide your Web UI logs or your Host logs in TRACE mode for troubleshooting.
Host log settings are done through system environment variables: Right-click on “My Computer” -> Advanced system settings -> Environment Variables.
There are two things you can control about the host logs:
1. The location of the log file (the default is C:\):
value: the directory where you wish the log file to be
2. The log level:
value: one of trace, info, warn, or error.
After changing the log level, you will need to reboot for the changes to take effect.
Web UI logs
1. Edit the log4j.properties file located in your installation directory (usually located in C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenEgg.org\NZFS Web Client Service 1.0 if running a 64 bit OS or C:\Program Files\OpenEgg.org\NZFS Web Client Service 1.0 if running a 32 bit OS)
Note that you might need to open the file as admin to be able to save your changes.
2. Set log4j.logger.com.tchegbe to one of trace, info, warn, or error.
